Absolute pleasure as always to host the Abbeyfeale Cycling Club this morning before they set off on their annual Christmas Charity Cycle.
No rest for the GOOD or even the wicked! Bingo tonight, as usual, when the rollover JACKPOT will be a magnificent €500 if you get your house call with 51 numbers or less. Good luck to one and all.
Great crowd at the Bingo last night, rollover jackpot not won, one last chance to win it before 2019 is out on Monday 30th December. From all of us here at the Glórach, we would like to thank everyone who has supported us at various events we ran throughout the year, and indeed the last decade. Wishing ye a joyful Christmas, Nollaig shona daoibh go léir.
We had a fabulous, and musical evening with the drama group Theatrix, giving us their unique production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Another wonderful night of music and song at the Glórach last night with the newly formed Seenager choir, aka 'Jimmy and the Jezebelles', guided by Ruth and Joyce O'Leary of Sephira delivering a sterling performance to a packed house. Just the tonic to put people in the Christmas spirit, and with Micheal English playing in the Church tonight there is no shortage of musical options for the patrons of Abbeyfeale.
