Delighted to say that we have gotten through the challenges that the Covid Pandemic posed and we are now back in action indoors for our Bingo on a Monday evening at 8pm. Thanks to everyone for the continued support.

CONTACT TRACING
In keeping with best practice, you are asked to to write your name and telephone number on the back of your Bingo Book and place in the receptacles provided at the exit gate to the car park. On the following Sunday we will pick a book at random from those deposited and if the owner of that book is present on the day, s/he will receive a €50 cash prize. We are agog with anticipation of seeing old friends at the GAA Car Park on the 13th., most of whom we've not seen since March 9th. Car Park Bingo is on its way and looking grand!
Prize Money - a Minimum of €3,050 will be paid out on the day. Double Book €20 - inc. of 2 Sheets for Jackpot Game. Single Book €15 - inc of 1 Sheet for Jackpot Game. BINGO DRIVE-IN.

Congratulations to Conor Dennison and his team on their recent IFTA nomination for Best Production Design for the film 'The Hole in the Ground'. No surprise to us here at the Glórach Theatre, Conor put up some fantastic sets for us in the period 2010-2012 and was a very good actor as well, delivering memorable performances in 'The Bishop's Candlesticks' and 'Anyone Could Rob a Bank.' Pictured below with the cast from the latter, where he played the role of Badger Grey with aplomb.  Rumour abounds that Glórach in association with the Church are planning car park BINGO in both car parks on Sunday afternoons.
Is it true? And, if it is will you attend provided all necessary safety precautions are in place and you are cocooned within your own vehicle? Does absence make the heart grow fonder; we shall see!😍 |
